In Psyberia, a quarantine island on one of the many alternate worlds of the multi-worldwide-web, the characters think that they are the consumers of stories. However, in their virtual-reality it is the stories that are consuming them. They binge on stories, vomiting them up and spitting them out, thinking that this will make them more popular and stronger fairy-tale characters. In truth, it is these ‘rags to riches’ stories that are making them sick. A new epidemic of the Thought Plague is emerging. To stop it, and discover the truth, agent KJ0539H (aka Kay Joseph), must encounter seven deadly sims, lose the plot and live to tell the tales.
